When we opened our Montclair doors over two years ago, our vision was to support the local maker scene, showcase local artists, share our daydreamy redesigned vintage, and host community events in our shop space. We host events as often our schedule allows (many of you know we have two young sons) and we will continue to do so as long as we can.
We refer to our regular community events as Free Fridays because they are complimentary and held on Friday nights. Our Free Fridays have varied in theme and offerings but the overall vibe is to give our local friends and neighbors a positive place to come together. These events are not about shopping or networking, they are purely about meeting new people and forging relationships.
In October, we hosted two Free Fridays: Friday, October 16th was our Art Walk and 2-Year Anniversary and Friday, October 20th was our Adult Trick-or-Treat Gathering. Our 2-Year Anniversary post is here along with meeting Annie Sloan at our NYC shop and fulfilling our dreams. 🙂
We are sharing some pics below of the Adult Trick-or-Treat Free Friday below. I am so upset I didn’t snap a pic of Lady K, the Good Witch of Montclair because she looked so fabulously witchy! We hosted complimentary psychic readings all night and had such a fantastic time. For those who came and met Kat, you can attest to how powerful and positive the vibes were that night. Magical, indeed!
Thanks for supporting us so we can continue to support you. We wouldn’t be here without your patronage and friendship!
Happy November. Rabbit Rabbit. 🙂
