One quart can or sample pot (4 oz.) of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Giverny.
Giverny is Annie’s most recent blue hue! In actuality, she has had it available once before, known as Monet Blue, and it made its way back to production (rejoice!) We LOVE it because it is bold and bright and beautiful on its own but also because it mixes such crisp clean colors.
Shown with clear and dark wax.
Clear wax over it for a bright retro blue.
Dark wax over it for a warm, rich blue.
White wax over it to create a cloudy effect.
Black wax over it to create a graphic industrial look.
From Annie’s website: Giverny is a bright, cheery, clean, cool blue in the Annie Sloan palette. It is near the greener range of blues, without any red in it. It is a perfect colour for a modern contemporary palette, and looks great with bright, warm colours (such as Barcelona Orange and Scandinavian Pink) and cool neutrals (such as Paloma) as well as greens from the Annie Sloan range. Giverny is named after the village in Northern France where Claude Monet lived and this brilliant blue was especially popular in early 20th Century interiors.
