One quart can (32 oz.) or sample pot (4 oz.) of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® in Honfleur.
At last! Annie Sloan, who loves it when we mix her paints to create our colors, has create a BROWN Chalk Paint®! It is rich and warm, like leather, and looks fabulous when finished with her waxes!
Take a look at the antique buffet we painted in the photos here…the base is Amsterdam Green and the top was Honfleur with Black and Dark Wax directly applied to mimic a woodgrain. GORGEOUS and even better, easy! 🙂
From Annie’s website: Named after the harbour town in Normandy, Honfleur is a colour inspired by the rich warm browns found in the rustic French countryside as well as in Mid-century Modern design. This rich brown is just want you need to work with bright colours: it looks great next to Scandinavian Pink, Barcelona Orange, Giverny, Provence, Greek Blue and Antibes Green. It can also look elegant and classical when paired with pastel Louis Blue or pretty Antoinette.
