{verdigreen} was founded in 2010 when Azie opened her Etsy shop, selling upcycled vintage furniture online while living in Atlanta.

Over the next decade, her family relocated to Montclair, she transitioned her online shop to a brick + mortar storefront just blocks from her home, became an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Stockist, opened a second DIY Boutique in the East Village NYC, and served her community as a source of interior design support and inspiration.

Her studios in NYC and NJ were creative outlets for herself and her customers for many years.

After a decade in retail, she "closed shop" in order to focus full-time on her Creative Director + Branding role with {verdigreen} hotels.
